Everywhere in America drinking alcohol in private at age 18 is illegal. Not because the government has any legitimate reason to interfere with such private conduct, but simply because such private conduct is a "sin," according to Christian beliefs. Yet another example of how our fascist Christian majority has always abused the secular political process to pass laws forcing its religious beliefs and practices on the private lives of everyone else.
But with the establishment of the Universal Free Church there now exists a competing religious belief that is libertarian and pro-choice on this issue Therefore, we believe existing laws on this issue, as applied to consenting adult UFC members, are unconstitutional because such laws are now favoring one religious belief and practice over another. This violates the establishment clause of the First Amendment.
The Universal Free Church does not advocate or condone, the violation of existing laws on this issue, except when we may challenge the constitutionality of such laws in litigation. Instead, we only provide pertinent information and a forum for discussion of this issue.
