How our federal government wastes nine Billion dollars a year of your tax money
According to the National Organization for Reform of Marijuana Laws (NORML), our federal government spends about nine billion dollars every year to arrest and prosecute about eight hundred thousand marijuana users. It's time to stop wasting billions of dollars of our tax money to ruin peoples lives for nothing more than private marijuana use among consenting adults.
Marijuana prohibition was brought to you by the same fascist Christian mentality that brought you alcohol prohibition. Marijuana is only illegal because fascist Christian politicians, elected by fascist Christian voters, have always passed secular laws that force their Christian beliefs on everyone else.
The EMP petition calls for limiting total federal spending to $100 per year for all marijuana prohibition activities. Unlike NORMAL, we don't want legislation passed to legalize marijuana. If marijuana was legalized, instead of decriminalized, the same fascist Christian politicians responsible for destroying millions of innocent lives through marijuana prohibition would be then able to profit from marijuana taxes. Those scum deserve nothing.
A law limiting total marijuana prohibition spending to $100 per year would immediately decriminalize marijuana cultivation, sale and use at the federal level because there would be no money for enforcement. It would also cripple state and local marijuana prohibition enforcement because most of that money comes from federal grants. And it would put an immediate end to federal interference in the 16 states that have "medical marijuana" laws.
This would also allow a domestic Hemp industry to develop and flourish without rewarding the same fascist Christian politicians responsible for marijuana prohibition. Although Hemp businesses would pay taxes on their profits at the same rates and under the same conditions as any other business on their federal tax forms.
