Any adult Universal Free Church member is entitled to be ordained as a Minister or any other title he or she may freely choose. Unlike Catholics, Protestants, Mormons, Muslims, and most other organized religions, the UFC believes it's evil to discriminate against any adult UFC member on the basis of race, gender, gender orientation, or age.
To be ordained, send an email to Mother Mary (universfc[at]aol.com). Tell her why you want to be ordained and any other information about yourself you'd like to share. Also state the title you want to be ordained as. Ordination is free, and you'll hear back within 10 days.
After your ordination is approved, you should go to your membership profile where it says "Are you ordained as a UFC Minister or other UFC spiritual title?" Then change your answer from "no" to "yes." That way anyone looking for a list of ordained Ministers world-wide, or only ordained Ministers in their city or zip code, can do an "advanced member search" and find you instantly.
A personalized Ordination Certificate," suitable for framing, and a wallet-sized Minister identification card are available for purchase after your ordination is approved ($23 total, including shipping and handling). We don't sell honorary Doctor of Divinity degrees or diplomas.
Once you're an ordained Minister you're entitled to join the private "Ordained Ministers" group here at the UFC website. In that private group you can learn and share information with all other UFC ordained Ministers everywhere. Click here

At the Ordained Ministers group there's also lots of free information about performing weddings and other religious services, including the laws of every US state concerning weddings and clergy responsibilities. And there's also lots of free information about tax exemptions available for ministers and churches.
